CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
We can create entirely new content, incorporate writing and research into content that needs to be expanded, or modify existing content for additional platforms, such as online courseware, PowerPoint presentations, or instructor ancillaries.
DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING
We work with authors to help them meet publisher requirements, conform to industry standards, and satisfy accrediting bodies. We consider competing books, reviewer feedback, and a number of other factors in evaluating and editing manuscripts, in order for it to be as informed as possible.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We work with authors and publishers to keep projects on schedule and on budget. We’re especially adept at managing book projects with multiple moving parts; our own in-house team involves contract workers in multiple cities and time zones, and we’ve developed in-house strategies that we can readily adopt to our clients.
PERMISSIONS
If a manuscript is reliant in part on borrowed material such as images or figures, we’re able to secure the rights for re-use to ensure against copyright infringement.
COMPETENCY AND STANDARD MAPPING
We can provide a wide range of competency and standard mapping services, confirming that a product meets the specific accreditation requirements for a higher education accrediting body, the unique standards for a professional organization or other entity, or the guidelines for any other related vocabulary or taxonomy.
MANUSCRIPT PROCESSING
Whether it’s consistent formatting, making sure illustrations and images are paired appropriately with text, or tagging content correctly for e-books, we are highly skilled at manuscript processing for the most demanding books in the publishing spectrum.
ADMINISTRATIVE WORK
There’s a nearly-infinite number of administrative tasks that can be assigned to a given manuscript, and we can customize and manage these according to your needs.
CONSULTING
In addition to the wide-ranging work we do on manuscripts, we also providing consulting services for publishers, authors, and other professionals seeking answers to questions about manuscripts and making manuscripts ready for publishers.
